CO2 Fire Extinguisher with NP4413 Certification

We have provided a brief description of CO2 extinguishers, which are especially recommended for extinguishing Class B fires caused by the combustion of highly flammable liquids or liquefied solids such as oil, gasoline, alcohol, paint, waxes, and varnishes. They are also effective against Class C fires, which involve flammable gases such as natural gas, butane, propane, acetylene, and ethylene. Furthermore, CO2 extinguishers are suitable for combating fires involving electrical equipment. The extinguishing agent in CO2 extinguishers is carbon dioxide, a liquefied gas stored under pressure. When used to extinguish fires, these extinguishers work by isolating oxygen (causing asphyxiation) and lowering the temperature. Carbon dioxide is a clean, odorless extinguishing agent that leaves no residue, does not damage equipment, and does not conduct electricity. Therefore, CO2 extinguishers are suitable for extinguishing fires in sensitive electrical and electronic equipment. However, they are not recommended for combating fires involving materials such as paper, wood, and plastic, as they cannot displace enough oxygen to extinguish these flames.
